By the end of the court day, the Los Angeles County jury had come to an agreement on whether Cosby had sexually assaulted plaintiff Judy Huth at the Playboy Mansion when she was 16 in 1975, and whether Huth deserved any damages. In all they had answered eight of nine questions on their verdict form, all but one that asked whether Cosby acted in a way that should require punitive damages.

“Moving on, Marvel recently released a brand new teaser from its upcoming film Thor: Love and Thunder that seems to be a total blast.

The clip shows Chris Hemsworth’s Thor trying to enthuse his people ahead of a big fight, a reminder of Captain America’s “Whatever it takes” speech from Avengers: Endgame. But unlike the Captain, Thor fails abysmally as Korg goes to grab some popcorn, Valkyrie thinks they are all going to die and Miek is being a distraction. The rest of the video is interspersed with shots of Thor, Valkyrie, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Jane Foster fighting the main antagonist Gorr the God Butcher, played by Christian Bale. The movie is set out to release on July 8th. ”

Not only did it open lower than expected, but it also failed to conquer Jurassic World: Dominion, which held on to the first-place spot with $58.7 million on its second weekend.

Meanwhile, as Ezra Miller continues to get embroiled in controversies, Warner Bros is now seriously contemplating working with the actor in the future, after the film releases in June 2023. In the latest scandal, Ezra caused a mother and 12-year-old child to get a temporary harassment order against them. According to reports, Ezra behaved inappropriately towards her child and their family. Well-placed sources told Deadline that even if no more allegations surfaced, the studio would not keep them as the scarlet speedster in the upcoming DCEU films. “Lastly, on the eve of Juneteenth, the Tribeca Festival came to a close with the Reverend Al Sharpton documentary ‘Loudmouth’ in a premiere that united on stage Sharpton and Spike Lee. The event held recently at the Borough of Manhattan Community College celebrated Sharpton with the kind of big-screen portrait that has been commonplace for an older generation of civil rights leaders, but had, until Loudmouth, eluded the 67-year-old activist. “Loudmouth” contextualizes Sharpton’s legacy of him as an extension of Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, the Rev. Jesse Jackson, Representative John Lewis, and others. Loudmouth, which is seeking distribution at Tribeca, was introduced by Tribeca co-founder Robert De Niro.
